It was an average experience staying at Hotel Times. All landmarks are near the hotel as Periyar Bus Stand, Railway Station, Meenakshi Amman temple. The hotel and its maintenance is the same as a lodge. Room service is average and cleanliness too. I gave 4/5 only for the generous and helpful front desk manager at reception. Try for a budget hotel with an excellent location.

This is not hotel ,its Lodge .Entrance is good .Inside looks like lodge .AC Room or not good .Smell inside .But Madurai main location access ,Near by Periyar Bus stand ,Railway station ,Meenachi Amman Temple .& Sabari Hotel .So best location average lodge only .

HI, Im regular visitor to this Hotel, but this time i had worst experience with hotel employees. I stayed from 13th june to 16th june my trip id is 18061168720 (clear trip). Below are my experience with Hotel employees. 1. We were not allocated room for past 45 mins even after showing trip id. we reached hotel by 5.45am they said it is online booking and not sure how to allocate room. and asked us to wait till 6.30am 2. We stayed in hotel for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned. 3. We gave money for buying food to hotel employee we din't even get the change. when we asked next time why the change was not given, their reply was shocking. they said if we need exact change we need to buy our food ourselves. which indirectly means that they took the change without asking us considering it as tips which was not offered by us. I have visited this Hotel Many times and it stood for its hospitality and many time i even offered tips to room service persons. there were persons who don't even accept tips saying "Management pays us and it is our pleasure to serve you". But this Time it is a terrible experience we got from Hotel employees. I hope Hotel Management will look in to this issue and solve ASAP. this kind of experience will affect hotel's reputation and trust gained from customers. I hope I will Not face this issue for my Next Visit. Regards Shivashankar .

I booked room through Yatra. When I entered the hotel and before even I asked he said all rooms are filled and no vacancy. I then said I already booked through Yatra. Then he asked me which floor and which type of toilet room I needed. I didn't understand why the receptionist was trying to cut-down even when there is rooms available. The rooms aren't clean. Room service expects tips of ever work. And when I asked for water they gave bottled water for amount(No drinking water for free). And that water also looked like a tap water. Horrible experience.

I stayed in this hotel on 19/11/2017 and 20/11/2017 The hotel does not have proper infra structure. The main land line of the hotel is not working. They do not have proper business communication with top online hotel booking portals like yatra and goibibo. The rooms have bad smell, No proper lighting in the room. Bath rooms are not clean especially the single bed rooms. The behaviour of the night duty reception staff on 20/11/2017 was very rude. He does not know to behave with the guests properly. He uses very rude words as if the guests are his slaves. During my stay i have seen the rude behaviour of the staffs and the same happened for me. Please do not visit this hotel.
